Sierra Helmann, MLML graduate student in the Biological Oceanography Lab, plays Julia Platt in Monterey Bay Aquarium's summer production of Turning the Tide: The Story of Monterey Bay. Julia Platt was responsible for setting aside Marine Protected Areas in Monterey Bay.
