This is a weekly publication that provides information on current and controversial issues on topics such as health, social trends, criminal justice, international affairs, education, the environment, technology, and the economy.

Global Newsstream [International Newsstream]

This is a world news database that provides both recent content and archives of newspapers outside of the US and Canada, with content from Asian, Australia and New Zealand, European, Latin American, and Middle East and African Newsstreams.

All of these databases are part of the Electronic Core Collection (ECC), which is funded by the CSU Chancellor’s Office. The ECC is composed of a collection of databases, including journal articles, popular news, magazine articles, business data, and reference articles, in a range of disciplines mainly outside the normal STEM fields.
