I recently graduated from Oregon State University with a B.S. in Biology and a focus on Marine Biology. My primary interests are in population genomics, ecology, and ecophysiology, though I am also interested in examining the ecological effects of pollutants and microplastics in marine systems. At MLML, I will be focusing on examining the relationship that genetics and physiology have in mussel thermal adaptability. I am co-advised by Dr. Alison Haupt and Dr. Cheryl Logan. I am an AAUS certified diver and am in the water swimming, diving, or snorkeling every chance I get. On land, my personal time is spent growing herbs, veggies, and succulents, baking, and re-watching Star Trek.
