headlands to visit many rocky outcrops. \u00a0The folded rock near rodeo beach San\u00a0Francisco\u00a0was most\u00a0impressive. \u00a0This rock was around 300 million years old. \u00a0Composed of layer upon layer of radiolarian skeletons, tiny creatures with mineral bodies that get left behind, the outcrop has layers that span millions of years that have since been\u00a0down-lifted, compressed
