While at SJSU, she took classes at MLML, and assisted with research in MLML's laboratories.<\/p>\n<p>Mina joined the phycology lab in 2018, and is currently studying the limitations of Macrocystis pyrifera recruitment in an urchin barren habitat.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Research Interests:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"last\">Kelp forest ecology<\/li>\n<li class=\"last\">Life history<\/li>\n<li class=\"last\">Kelp forest restoration<\/li>\n<li class=\"last\">Urchin barrens<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pgc-709-1-2\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell panel-grid-cell-empty\" ><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mina Sattari Graduate Student Email:\u00a0msattari@mlml.calstate.edu Biography:\u00a0 Mina received her undergraduate degree from San Jose State University in 2017.
