Biography:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h6>\n

Matt received his undergraduate degree from Winona State University in 2017. While at WSU, he was able to participate in a subtidal ecology course held in the Great Barrier Reef.<\/p>\n

Matt joined the Phycology lab in 2017, and is currently working on his thesis project studying spatial and temporal variability of nutrient physiology in pyropia species. While as Moss Landing, Matt has been able to help out with a variety of projects such as: integrating multi-trophic aquaculture between red abalone and dulse, large scale macroalgae culturing, microalgae culturing, and reestablishing olympia oysters populations in the Elkhorn Slough.<\/p>\n
