\n\t\t\t\t\t\tThere are a number of networks available at MLML that are available to the public, volunteers, students, staff, and faculty. All systems and devices that have Wi-Fi functionality should be able to connect to the available networks. These networks enable printing, scanning, remote computing, access to MLML file servers, network browsing capabilities, and more.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Wireless Networks<\/strong><\/h1>\n

To join a wireless network select one of the following options: moss-guest, or eduroam.<\/span><\/p>\n

moss-guest<\/strong><\/h5>\n

\"moss-guest\" is a wireless network at MLML that is accessible by the public.<\/span><\/p>\n

eduroam<\/strong><\/h5>\n

\"eduroam\" enables MLML staff, faculty, and students (as well as other CSU campuses) to connect to the internet wirelessly and stay connected. \u00a0Once you are connected to eduroam, you will not need to re-authenticate every day. Eduroam gives you the ability to connect on campus and at participating eduroam <\/span>hotspots<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you are connecting through an Android phone or other device that requires a domain, set the domain to \"sjsu.edu\" and the identity as your username as specified in the above table. Password will be the same as specified in the table.<\/span><\/p>\n

Q: What is my MLML username and password? <\/strong><\/h6>\n

A: If you have forgotten your MLML password, please file an IT Help Desk ticket: mlml-it@sjsu.edu<\/a><\/p>\n

MLML usernames and passwords are required for Wi-Fi connectivity, MLML Help Desk IT Help Desk Ticket correspondences<\/a>, MLML email<\/a>, Google Drive<\/a>, and Populi<\/a>. Your username is usually the first initial of your first name followed by your last name. It was sent to you via email when your account was created.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Q: How do I access the MLML network using VPN?<\/strong><\/h6>\n

A: MLML users may gain access to the VPN server by submitting an IT Help Desk Ticket<\/a> requesting a VPN account. In order to access the server, please follow this link<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Clearing your web browser's cache can help fix problems related to accessing web sites. If you are having problems accessing or otherwise using a website that you believe should be accessible and functioning normally, try clearing your browser's cache to fix the problem.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Q: What if I want to connect a device that can't authenticate with any of these networks?<\/strong><\/h6>\n

A: If you want to connect something to wifi which can't authenticate with the login systems of the other MLML networks (like an instrument or sensor) , please file an IT Help Desk Ticket<\/a> with the request. Include the MAC address of the device.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

  • MLML adheres to the\u00a0California State University\u00a0and San Jose State University Information Technology Policies and Standards.<\/li>\n
  • Planned outages will be communicated in advance via email and voicemail and will be scheduled to minimize disruptions to the MLML community.<\/li>\n
