Katrina is a first-year student in both the Invertebrate Ecology Lab at MLML and the Logan Lab at CSUMB. She is currently investigating the underlying mechanisms responsible for variable thermal tolerance in Pocillopora<\/em> coral colonies from the Galapagos. She recently graduated from the University of Delaware in 2021 with a B.S. in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation. She is interested in a wide breadth of coral reef research but is particularly interested in using molecular techniques to explore the variables that may affect corals\u2019 abilities to adapt and\/or acclimate to climate change. In her spare time, she loves to play the ukulele, find the best beach spots around, and spend quality time with her friends and family.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>
