Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, June is passionate for community ecology and exploring the dynamic interactions within California's kelp forests.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, serif\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #444444;font-family: times new roman, serif\">For her thesis, June studies fish pee! Specifically, the nutrients that kelp forest fishes excrete when they pee. She seeks to discover:<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #444444;font-family: times new roman, serif\">\u00a0Are certain species important nutrient contributors?\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #444444;font-family: times new roman, serif\">Are there certain \"hotspots\" to fish pee?
