He spent two field seasons as a USGS Biological Science Technician tracking the annual variability of riparian stream habitats. Evan currently works at MLML marine operations center where he helps maintain our fleet of research vessels and assists in running research cruises.<\/p>\n<p>Evan is a fourth-year student in the Ichthyology lab and will be defending his thesis this winter. His research focuses on investigating the behavioral and physiological effects of exposure to hypoxic conditions on juvenile stage rockfishes.
