Williamson<\/h3>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<p>James graduated from the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/welcome.miami.edu\/\">University of Miami (FL)<\/a>\u00a0in 2013 with a B.S. after double majoring in Marine Science and Biology and minoring in Chemistry. After graduation, he began work in the Chemical Oceanography Lab at Miami's\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rsmas.miami.edu\/\">Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science (RSMAS)<\/a>\u00a0as a research technician aboard the NOAA ship\u00a0R\/V Ronald Brown\u00a0conducting deep water sampling in the north Atlantic. In early 2014, James began work as an observer for the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmfs.noaa.gov\/\">National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS)<\/a>, collecting catch data aboard commercial fishing vessels all over New England.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>James joined the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/seagrant.mlml.calstate.edu\/\">Fisheries and Conservation Biology Lab<\/a>\u00a0at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mlml.sjsu.edu\/\">Moss Landing Marine Laboratories<\/a>\u00a0in the fall of 2015 to pursue his interests in fisheries, and quickly became initiated through the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/seagrant.mlml.calstate.edu\/research\/ccfrp\/\">California Collaborative Fisheries Research Program (CCFRP)<\/a>.
