Brady (2008)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/mlml.sjsu.edu\/fisheries\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/24\/2017\/09\/Brady_2008_Thesis.pdf\">Long-term changes in biological characteristics and fishery of<em> Loligo opalescens<\/em><\/a><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1112 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/mlml.sjsu.edu\/fisheries\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/24\/2017\/10\/Briana-Brady.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"163\" height=\"235\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Briana\u2019s master\u2019s thesis focused on the commercial market squid fishery and long-term trends in biological characteristics of the species; and Briana worked with Rick Starr, Greg Cailliet, and Jim Harvey at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mlml.sjsu.edu\/\">MLML<\/a>, in addition to Dale Sweetnam with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wildlife.ca.gov\/\">California Department of Fish and Wildlife<\/a>, to complete her thesis.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Briana is a Senior Environmental Scientist Supervisor with the Department. Briana supervises the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wildlife.ca.gov\/Conservation\/Marine\/CPS-HMS#28909317-overview\">Coastal Pelagic Species Project<\/a>, which manages fisheries for market squid, sardine, anchovy, and mackerel. In 2016, Briana was appointed as a designee for the Department to the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pcouncil.org\/\">Pacific Fishery Management Council<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Briana C.
