2020 Sampling Season Update:<\/h1>\n

Unfortunately, the 2020 CCFRP season has come to a close for MLML, but we are eagerly planning and can't wait for 2021! Over the course of this season, we were able to conduct 12 samping days where our volunteer anglers helped us catch and release approx. 2,700 fishes from 23 different species! See figure below for a breakdown by area.<\/p>\n

Some unique catches this year included California Sheephead (Semicossyphus pulcher<\/em>), Ocean Whitefish (Caulolatilus princeps<\/em>), and California Halibut (Paralichthys californicus<\/em>)! We are so incredibly grateful for our dedicated volunteer anglers and can't thank you enough for your support over the years! As we transition towards data entry mode, stay tuned for updates regarding our angler newsletter and angler appreciation event.<\/p>\n
