ACT Workshop January 2017<\/h3>\n

EBL, home to the Pacific Coast Partner in the Alliance for Coastal Technologies (ACT), organized and hosted a Workshop entitled \u201cSENSORS FOR MONITORING OF HARMFUL ALGAE, CYANOBACTERIA AND THEIR TOXINS \u2013 Current Status and Integration Into Observing Systems\u201d<\/b>\u00a0at MLML January 30th \u2013 February 1st, 2017. Participants from research, industry, government and management spent time in break-out sessions and open discussions\u00a0to talk about the state of HAB detection technologies and future recommendations (i.e. challenges for\u00a0stakeholder needs, system integrations, coordination of marine and freshwater approaches, and verification and knowledge-sharing). The results of these discussions and recommendations will be culminated into a\u00a0report.\u00a0 Here, we provide access to plenary presentations (with permission of the authors) and links to additional resources which were provided during the workshop discussions.<\/div>\n
