Also, I work with terrestrial plant systems and their conservation, especially our local coastal dunes. All of these marine, freshwater and terrestrial habitats in Monterey County have been mildly to severely altered from their natural state by human disturbance, e.g. pollution, urbanization, and invasive weeds.
